Access restrictions – Installation works on Clarendon Road

Where: We have been notified by Northern Powergrid that they are carrying out installation works next week along Clarendon Road and across the site entrance of the entrance to Western Campus adjacent the Charles Thackrah building. They will be starting work on Monday 22nd August.

Unfortunately they will be causing a small amount of disruption while they excavate across the site entrance.  Obviously they will aim to get this completed as quickly as possible while remaining safe however because of the width of the entrance they cannot leave enough of a gap open to leave access.

While the access/egress off Clarendon Road is not accessible the barrier off Moorland Road, adjacent the Liberty Building, will be left open. Please access/egress Western Campus from there.
