Potential Disruption – Edward Boyle Library

Where: Edward Boyle Library – Building Number 0091 and area outside main entrance

When: Monday 1st August 2016

Effects of this interruption upon building occupants: Pedestrian access in front of the library will be re-routed around the back of the contractor’s compound.  Vehicular access will be unavailable.  The road behind the Ziff building and access to the Student Union loading bay will also be blocked during delivery and removal of the crane. 

Effects of this interruption upon building occupants: No building will be affected, this only affects access from Social Sciences along level 9 in front of the library towards Maths.

Reason for works/services interruption:  The 24.7m upgrade of the Edward Boyle Library is currently in its second phase of refurbishment work. It will re-open in autumn 2016 with refurbished areas accessible for all users.
