Temporary Closure of Cromer Terrace
2 October – 10 January 2018
Essential cabling works will take place along Cromer Terrace in order to lay new infrastructure for the University. This work will help strengthen the University power capabilities and provide essential networking cabling for IT systems.
The works are being split into two phases to minimise disruption:
|PHASE 1||PHASE 2|
|Road closure||Road closure|
|02/10/2017 until 08/12/2017||11/12/2017 until 10/01/2018|
During this time, vehicular access to Cromer Terrace will be restricted and diversions will be in place to redirect traffic away and around the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained along one side of the road.
Update: from 2-8 January the full length of Cromer Terrace will be blocked off. Footpaths will remain open but normal access to the Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre will not be available. No vehicular access will be available to Cromer Road except for emergency or disabled vehicles.
