Engineering and Facilities Buildings Access Disruptions: 15 January 2018 for four-weeks

Date of disruption: from Monday 15 January 2018 for a four-week period

Engie, the contractor employed by the University and NHS Trust to fit out the Generating Station Complex, have informed us that they will be digging a trench from Medical and Process Engineering along the back of Civil Engineering to the substation in Chemical and Process Engineering. This is to lay ducts to allow the installation of new electrical cables. The trench works will start on Monday 15 January 2018 for a 4 week period.

Services to be interrupted: Minimum external access disruption.

Effects of this interruption upon building occupants: Potential local digging noise.
