Brownlee Centre car park excavation

A trench across the Brownlee Centre car park will be excavated on dates between Wednesday 12 June and Friday 21 June to allow a new mains electrical cable to be laid under the area.

The work will be undertaken in 3 phases to minimise disruption. Phase one will take place from Wednesday 12 June to Friday 14 June, phase two from Monday 17 June to Wednesday 19 June, and phase three from Wednesday 19 June to Friday 21 June.

Each section of trench will be backfilled after each phase so only 1 section of the car park will be out of use at any one time.

The car park will still be in operation but at reduced capacity.

Barriers will be installed around work areas to segregate the contractors works from car park users/visitors/the public.

Please observe and follow diversion signage during the works and do not obstruct the contractor work area.
