More Information
Bodington Playing Fields are located just three miles north of the main University of Leeds campus. It is also home to The Brownlee Centre which is the UK’s first purpose-built triathlon training centre and sits alongside our new 1 mile (1.6km) Bodington cycle circuit, one of the longest in the country.
Plans have been proposed to develop the playing fields. The proposed plans are to provide one dual-use artificial grass pitch (football and rugby) and two new artificial grass football pitches with an ancillary pavilion building, access and car parking facilities. A new access point into the site is proposed from the A660 and has already been discussed with Leeds City Highways Department.
