Please take notice that it is intended to carry out the annual condition survey to update our asbestos register in accordance with the current relevant regulations. There will be no disturbance to asbestos containing materials while the survey is being carried out. If any further work is to be carried out with regard to the asbestos you will be informed prior to this being commenced.

*FACULTY SAFETY MANAGERS*:- If there are any risk areas within your faculty that require the contractor to have a Permit to Work, or a procedure requiring a nominated member of staff to accompany them, please contact the sender of this notification so appropriate arrangements can be made.

Electrical supply to the above buildings, systems with a battery back-up will still be operational for the outage period. The lifts in the building will be isolated. The impacted buildings will not be able to be occupied for the duration of the works.

Background information:

There will be disruption to the electrical supply which will affect each building while maintenance is carried out in the HV substation.
