It is planned to carry out operational testing of the fire alarm systems at the above location, commencing at 8am fire alarm sounders will be activated during the testing for as short a duration as possible. Then from 9am onwards detectors will be silent.

In the unlikely event of the sound continuously sounding, please evacuate the building.

We would be grateful if you could notify your colleagues of this event, and we regret any inconvenience these tests may cause.

Please be aware that ResFest will be happening on 25 September from 12pm – 6pm which is a big event to welcome our new students to campus. This will lead to significant noise disruption and blocking areas around the marquee including parking spaces.

If you require access to Disability Services the security team will grant you access.

There will be a DJ playing which means it will be quite loud and access to the Great Hall and surrounding areas will be limited – Security Services will be able to provide access to Disability Services if needed.
