PORTERING FACILITIES

Supporting the day-to-day operation of the University.

Our award-winning Portering Facilities team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of our campus and specifically our teaching and event spaces.

With a focus on safety, reliability, and professionalism, our dedicated team provides essential support services that keep our environment functional, clean, and responsive to the needs of staff, visitors, and the wider community.

Our duties include:

  • Access

    Locking and unlocking campus buildings, class rooms, lecture theatres and clusters.

  • Delivery

    Delivery and collection of posts and parcels.

  • Assistance

    Assisting with University Open Days, exams, graduation ceremonies.

  • Working closely with Conference & Events

  • Liaising

    Liaising with individual schools and LUU Societies assisting with events or other student activities.

  • Providing Fire Warden and First Aid assistance across campus
