How do I book visitor parking?
If you have been invited to, or are attending an event at the University of Leeds during the core parking hours your parking must be pre-booked. Please contact the department you are visiting to make arrangements.

Where can visitors park?
PUBLIC PARKING
Parking is available to the public in the Orange Zone on weekday evenings (5pm – 7am) and all day on weekends, bank holidays and dates when the University is closed.
Please note, university closure dates are as follows:
- 22 December 2023 to 1 January 2024
- 28 March to 2 April 2024
- 6 May 2024
- 27 to 28 May 2024
- 26 to 27 August 2024
Please do not pay on arrival. Payment for parking should be made before exit at any of the cashless pay machines.
Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) is in operation in this car park. Payment for parking is required as per the tariff displayed within the car parks. These tariffs also apply to Blue Badge holders.

Keep your vehicle secure
Whilst the University of Leeds endeavours to protect vehicles from theft, the University does not accept any liability for theft of or damage to a vehicle. To reduce the risk of your vehicle being broke into/damaged, read the following advice:
- Always lock your vehicle.
- Do not leave any items on display.
- Remove all valuable items from your vehicle.
- Remove all navigation equipment such as a SatNav, including the holder.
- Do not leave your vehicle on campus overnight.
