Repairs to Generating Station Complex

The Generating Station Complex (GSC) requires urgent repairs to the chilled water system supplying the University campus before the summer. The below buildings will be affected from 8am on Monday 26th February until 10pm on Wednesday 28th February:

  • Garstang Building
  • Irene Manton Building
  • Maths/Earth Environment
  • CEU Building
  • LC Miall Building
  • Astbury Building

Services to be interrupted

The chilled water service, which may affect building air conditioning and some research equipment in the School of Earth and Environment.

Effects of this interruption upon building occupants

There will be no chilled water service from 8am on Monday 26th February until 10pm on Wednesday 28th February.
