Road Closure – April 2023

From 11 April – 12 April, there will be a road closure on Clarendon Way.

On 11 April, Clarendon Way (outside the Worsley Building) will be closed from 5am – 8am. The TV Courtyard will be occupied by a truck mounted cherry picker.

On 12 April, a tracked boom will be used to survey Garstang, Irene Manton, Astbury and LC Miall.

Chemistry & Chemistry West Block – April 2023

On 17 April at 8am – 4pm there will be building restoration works. There will be repairs to the low level stone work at the main entrance of Chemistry; the work will take 10 working days.

Entrance will remain open to all users.

Reason for works

Weathered stone work.

Accessible ramp will have barriers in place during week two but contractors will move these when accessible access is required.

Michael Sadler Building – April 2023

From 6 April – 11 April at 8am – 4pm, there will be re-decoration of external windows to the Michael Sadler building arches over the Easter break. Two MEWPs will be in use and arches will be closed off with one left open for access.
