Brief
Prospective and current students can expect a warm welcome to the Social Sciences Building thanks to a full refurbishment of the building’s entrance by Estates.
The sleek new design will improve accessibility to the building and provide a new meeting space for our students.
This work is part of the Campus Improvement Programme – a £32 million Estates-led programme that will create an upgraded campus experience for students by revitalising key spaces.

Morgan Sindall have been appointed by the University to undertake the work.
Work will begin in early 2025 and is expected to complete in late 2025. Some of the projects are subject to planning permission.
As part of its delivery of the project, Morgan Sindall will deliver a social value plan that will ensure the project benefits the wider Leeds community.
