Bring Your Own Device

Brief

The ‘Bring Your Own Device’ Education Spaces project is in response to student feedback, and will address key student priorities including additional charging facilities, improved access to study clusters, secure storage for personal devices, and improved technology infrastructure to support both independent and collaborative study. The works will transform the current study environment into a welcoming, accessible and student-centred space that enhances the overall learning experience.

The refurbishment will provide a range of flexible and adaptable study areas to support different ways of learning, while creating a sustainable, inclusive and inspiring environment where students choose to spend their time.

The works will improve the functionality of the space through enhanced acoustics, stronger Wi-Fi and connectivity, and better access to digital platforms and academic software.
