More Information
Work on the LC Miall Teaching Lab has delivered a fully refurbished, student-focused space in the Faculty of Biological Sciences, designed with direct input from staff and students. Features include flat-bottomed sinks, knee-operated taps, and a mobile lectern to support hands-on learning and improve visibility during demonstrations.
The lab also includes electric height-adjustable benches and sinks, making it fully wheelchair accessible and adaptable to a range of physical needs.
This project is part of the Campus Improvement Programme – a £32 million Estates-led initiative to enhance the student experience by revitalising key spaces across campus.
