Building Asset Condition Survey

Brief:
It is essential for the University to assess the current condition of its building assets both internally and externally across the main campus portfolio. Buildings have been categorised as High, Medium and Low priority, with the first tranche of high priority building surveys commencing between October – February.
This survey will provide valuable data on the state of the facilities, enabling informed decision-making for future maintenance, upgrades, and investments, this project will feed into the wider Campus Reimagined programme.

This Building Asset Condition Survey will provide the University of Leeds with critical insights into its building assets, supporting the university’s mission to provide a safe, sustainable, and conducive learning environment.
By systematically assessing the condition of its facilities, the University can prioritise investments and ensure the long-term functionality of its buildings.

- Garstang Building
- Irene Manton Building
- Brotherton Library & Extension
- Chemistry and Chemistry West Block
- Great Hall
- Roger Stevens Building
- L C Miall Building
- Astbury Building
- E C Stoner Building
- Parkinson Building
- Priestley Building
- Edward Boyle Library
- Social Sciences Building
- Worsley Building
Please note that surveys include a 360 video of all internal areas. This has been approved by the University’s GDPR team, and any video captures will automatically blur faces and data is deleted once uploaded, prior notification will be given before the video captures commence.
