The new building will offer students the opportunity to study in an impressive modernised environment including high end studio space, fully equipped workshops, a multi-purpose gallery space for development of curatorial practice and visiting exhibitions plus a large student common room.
By investing in a space for art and culture at the centre of our campus, it will enable the school to continue to increase knowledge and opportunity, and to continue to improve student experience and develop world leading research.
The new building will support the objective to become a leading centre for art, heritage and critical humanities and culture in the UK and will help retain and attract the best research staff and enable them to work more collaboratively to develop new initiatives and funding opportunities.
